Held at White Colne, Nr Colchester (just off the A1124)
The highlight of the NEETEC year is it’s annual rally and for many years it has jointly organised this with the Earls Colne Scout & Guide Group.
NEETEC held it’s first rally in Mistley in 1976. Although successful it was somewhat outside the catchment area of the club so in 1977 the rally moved to Wash Farm in Aldham Ford Street and the name “Aldham Olde Tyme Rallye” was born.
20 years later we had outgrown the site and moved up the road to Chalkney Meadow at White Colne but the well established Aldham Rally name was retained albeit without the anachronistic spelling.
Exhibits range from full size and model steam engines, tractors, stationary engines and horticultural machinery to military & commercial vehicles, vintage & classic cars, motorcycles and static displays of interesting collectables. There are also autojumblers and other traders, a craft tent and, of course, ample refreshments.
